Uber Hitch ‘n Ride Promotion
READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING. YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THEM WHEN MAKING A BOOKING FOR THIS PROMOTION. AMONG OTHER THINGS, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS INCLUDE LIMITATIONS OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
1. The Promoter and Agent
1.1 The promoter of this Promotion is UBER BRITANNIA LIMITED, Company number 08823469, Floors 13-15, Aldgate Tower 2 Leman Street, London, England, E1 8FA (the “Promoter”).
1.2 The Promotion will be administered and fulfilled with the support of HOPE & GLORY COMMUNICATIONS LTD, whose registered address is 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, acting as an operational agent for the Promoter (the “Agent”).
2. Promotion Period and Availability
2.1 Bookings for the Promotion will open at 10:00 on Monday 24th August 2026 and will remain available until all available spaces have been allocated or the booking facility is otherwise closed by the Promoter (the “Booking Period”).
2.2 The Uber Hitch ‘n Ride experience will operate on Friday 28 August, Saturday 29 August, Sunday 30 August and Monday 31 August 2026 (the “Experience Period”).
2.3 Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is also dependent on the location of the participant’s wedding and the Promoter’s operational capacity. Submission of a booking request does not guarantee participation unless and until the booking is confirmed.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The Promotion is available to individuals aged 18 years or over who are getting married during the Experience Period and who have a valid booking for a wedding ceremony at a town hall or registry office in one of the locations made available through the dedicated booking platform.
3.2 The locations identified in the promotional materials are Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nottingham, Bristol, Sheffield and Leicester. Participation remains subject to operational availability in the relevant location.
3.3 Employees of the Promoter, the Agent and any associated third-party agents directly involved in administering the Promotion, together with their immediate families, are not eligible to participate.
3.4 The lead passenger must provide valid proof of their ceremony booking when requested. The Promoter or Agent may cancel a booking where satisfactory proof is not provided.
4. How to Book
4.1 Bookings must be made exclusively through the dedicated Hitch ‘n Ride booking platform during the Booking Period.
4.2 The person making the booking will be the lead passenger and must provide the requested booking information, including their name, telephone number and email address, wedding location and date, and the names and number of passengers travelling.
4.3 A booking is for one convertible vehicle. A maximum of three passengers may travel in the vehicle, excluding the driver. The service is intended for the couple getting married together with one marriage witness or photographer.
4.4 The lead passenger is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied in connection with the booking is complete and accurate and for communicating relevant information about the experience to the other passengers.
5. Booking Deposit
5.1 A £20 deposit is payable for each vehicle booking. The £20 deposit covers all passengers included in that booking.
5.2 Following completion of the experience, the £20 deposit will be refunded to the original payment method.
5.3 If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours in advance or don’t show up to your booking, you will unfortunately forfeit the £20 deposit.
6. The Experience
6.1 The experience consists of travel in a premium convertible vehicle with a driver. Depending on the confirmed itinerary, this may include collection from the participants’ door and travel to the town hall or registry office and/or travel from the ceremony to the participants’ onward location.
6.2 Promotional materials may refer to example vehicles including a Bentley GTC and BMW 420i. No particular vehicle make, model, colour or specification is guaranteed, and vehicles may be substituted where required for operational reasons.
6.3 The exact pick-up location, timings, route and onward destination will be arranged with confirmed participants by the Agent. The Promoter and Agent may make reasonable changes to these details where necessary for safety, traffic, weather, vehicle availability or other operational reasons.
6.4 Passengers must comply with all reasonable safety instructions provided by the driver, Promoter, Agent or other personnel involved in delivering the experience.
6.5 Due to the nature and size of the convertible vehicles, access may be more difficult than in a standard vehicle. Participants who have accessibility requirements or concerns should provide relevant information during booking and contact hitchnride@hopeandglorypr.com to discuss available arrangements.
7. Booking Confirmation and Contact
7.1 After submitting a booking, participants should look out for an email confirming whether their booking has been accepted. The Agent will contact confirmed participants to arrange the details of their experience.
7.2 Questions or significant issues relating to a booking should be directed to uberconvertibles@hopeandglorypr.com.
7.3 If for any reason the promoter or agency needs to change of cancel a confirmed experience lead passenger will be provided with £250 Uber credits.
8. Changes, Cancellation and Availability
8.1 The Promotion is subject to vehicle, driver, location and operational availability. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel all or part of the Promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary, subject to applicable law.
8.2 Where the Promoter or Agent needs to change or cancel a confirmed experience, reasonable efforts will be made to contact the lead passenger using the contact details supplied at booking.
8.3 If for any reason the promoter or agency needs to change of cancel a confirmed experience lead passenger will be provided with £250 Uber credits.
9. Personal Data
9.1 Personal data provided in connection with the Promotion will be processed in accordance with Uber’s applicable Privacy Notice and may be shared with the Agent and other service providers only to the extent necessary to administer bookings, verify eligibility, communicate with participants and deliver the experience.
9.2 Participants should only provide information about other passengers where they are authorised to do so. Uber privacy policy here.
10. General
10.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1 and applicable law, the Promoter and Agent will not be responsible for loss, damage or disappointment arising from circumstances outside their reasonable control.
10.3 The Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility, availability and administration of the Promotion is final, subject to applicable law.
10.4 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
10.5 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
